Wolf Brother (Chronicles of Ancient Darkness #1) by Michelle Paver

Book Blurb (from Goodreads):
Six thousand years ago. Evil stalks the land. Only twelve-year-old Torak and his wolf-cub companion can defeat it. Their journey together takes them through deep forests, across giant glaciers, and into dangers they never imagined.

In this page-turning, original, and spectacularly told adventure story, Torak and Wolf are joined by an incredible cast of characters as they battle to save their world, in this first book in the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness.

My Review
This book was fabulous! This story is taking place 6000 years ago and because these people don't use the same vocabulary as us, the author also writes in stone age language. It is also a really good book because this story also includes magic and animals and I lover reading books which include these topics. But the ending is soooo sad. I nearly cried!
I didn't really like that things were solved so simply and it was a bit predictable that everything was alright in the end. But still in some places it was suspenseful and exciting. I loved the way Torak and Renn kept on bickering. And Wolf was just the cutest ever! I liked Wolf's perspective the most. He kept on using other words for common things in our daily life.
But still... I give it 5 stars out of 5. Second book, here I come!
