Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky #1) by Veronica Rossi

Book Blurb (from Goodreads):
Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered.

This was worse.

Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland--known as The Death Shop--are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild--a savage--and her only hope of staying alive.

A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile--everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.

My Review
I found that this was a pretty good book. It was action-packed and I liked the idea that the inhabitants of the Death Shop also have some unnatural powers. I think that it was sweet that Perry and Aria didn't bother talking to each in the beginning but then they started to warm up to each other. It is obvious who Aria is going to fall in love with.
At first I was fascinated, that the Reverie has so many dimensions. I thought that it really had magic. But when I found out that it was not really magic, I was kind of disappointed. Instead it comes from an electrical eyepiece.
I thought that the whole book was amazing, except for the beginning. It was kind of boring, it might have had action but it just wasn't that good.
I think that Perry was an interesting character. He was fun and his description with his scent was really good.
Despite the beginning, I give it 4 out of 5 stars!
