The Maze Runner (The Maze Runner #1) by James Dashner

Book Blurb (from Goodreads):
If you ain’t scared, you ain’t human.

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone.

Nice to meet ya, shank. Welcome to the Glade.

Outside the towering stone walls that surround the Glade is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive.

Everything is going to change.

Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying.

Remember. Survive. Run.

My Review
I really loved this book. The action and the plot twist was just amazing. I really just couldn't put down this book. During this book, I was of course confused at the beginning because I didn't understand the Glader terms. Then I also had a lot of questions about the Maze and everything that happened in the book. But then when I did get some answers, these also just led to more questions which aren't even answered in this book.
I think that the beginning was a bit boring but then the action really starts picking up and I started becoming more and more interested in the Grievers. I think that James Dashner certainly knows how to describe icky things like the Grievers.
Overall I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
