Gold (Bandia #2) by Talia Vance

Book Blurb (from Goodreads):
Descended from an Irish demigod, Brianna has fled to Ireland to escape destruction at the hands of her sworn enemies, the Sons of Killian. Taking refuge at the estate of her former nemesis, Austin Montgomery, Brianna discovers a rift in time that opens to an era before the feud began.

Wrestling with her newfound feelings for the more innocent Austin, Brianna begins to wonder if she can alter the past. But when Brianna and Austin learn that the Sons are raising an army of mythical beasts, the pair will need to use their magical strength in the present to avoid a tragic end.

My Review
OH MY GOD!!!! That ending!!!!!! This book was even better than Silver and oh my what a depressing ending. This book has a way better plot setting and suddenly Austin becomes the good guy and you will like him way more than you ever liked Blake. Besides Blake and Austin, the other characters still have the same personality.
My personal opinion: Blake became the biggest jerk the world has ever seen. He is so mean to Brianna and the he just breaks her heart. How could he!
My favourite character after Austin is, surprisingly, Braden the fuath. He is like the best person ever! He is funny, charismatic and even though he is supposed t be evil, he is really nice to Brianna and makes her feel better.
Same like the last book, Talia Vance described intimate moments a bit too detailed and clearly, but I guess that after a while you get used to it and it is alright then.
That's why I am giving this book a whooping 5 out of 5 stars. Team Austin all the way!
